Rotating proxies help reduce blocks, avoid CAPTCHAs, and improve performance. In this guide, we’ll walk you through how rotation works, how to enable it.
✅ Common Proxy Issues & Quick Fixes
If your proxies are blocked, not working, or responding slowly, follow these steps:
- Check IP Authentication
Ensure your IP address is properly authenticated in your account dashboard. If the IP isn’t correct, your proxies will not connect. - Reboot Your Proxy Server
If you're experiencing slow or unresponsive proxies, try rebooting your proxy server — often a quick fix for minor issues.
What Are Rotating Proxies?
Rotating proxies use what is called “backconnect” — meaning you get a static IP to connect to, but in the backend, it’ll be a different IP that changes based on your settings.
This means:
- You don’t need to update your proxy details each time the IP changes.
- The backend IP rotates automatically or manually depending on your setup.
- Ideal for reducing blocks, bans, and reCAPTCHA triggers on supported platforms.
Rotation Options for Datacenter IPv6 Proxies Only
Our Datacenter IPv6 proxies support two rotation modes:
1. Manual Rotation
- Go to your dashboard and select your active proxy service.
- Click Instant IP Rotation.
- Click Submit to assign a new backend.

2. Auto-Rotation
- In the dashboard, select your service.
- Click on IP Rotation Time.
- Enter your preferred rotation interval in minutes (e.g., 5 for every 5 minutes).
- Click Submit.

Tips:
For solving CAPTCHAs (like Google reCAPTCHA), we recommend setting a rotation interval of around 15 minutes, depending on your use case and target website.
- To disable rotation, set the interval to 0 and submit — your proxy IP will remain static.
⚠️ IPv6 Proxies Are Not Supported on Instagram
Instagram blocks all IPv6 proxies — even if rotation is enabled.
For Instagram-related activities, we strongly recommend using Residential proxies.
Residential Proxies Rotate Automatically
Our Residential proxies work differently:
- They rotate IPs automatically with every request.
- No need to set rotation intervals manually.
- You get a fresh IP on each connection.
- This setup is ideal for high-anonymity tasks or platforms like Instagram.
